Can I open a Viva Wallet account in my country?

We offer Viva Wallet Individual accounts only in Greece.

In Greece Viva Wallet accounts are IBAN accounts that can receive and send funds via Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) credit transfer. To make a transfer, it must be in EUR and within SEPA*. In order to receive funds to your Viva Wallet IBAN account, you'll just need to provide your IBAN and your name as written in your ID or the company's name if it is a legal entity and used to create your account. In order to send funds you need to provide the beneficiaries name as it is written in their ID and their IBAN account with no spaces.

 

*IBAN accounts in Greece currently support incoming SEPA credit transfers from all Greek banks (members of DIAS) and some European SEPA zone banks (members of Equens.xlsx).Within November, all SEPA zone banks will be supported for incoming SEPA credit transfers.
