Can I open a Viva Wallet account in my country?

We offer Viva Wallet accounts in: UK, Belgium, Cyprus and Greece:

In Greece Viva Wallet accounts are IBAN accounts that can receive and send funds via Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA) credit transfer. To make a transfer, it must be in EUR and within SEPA*. In order to receive funds to your Viva Wallet IBAN account, you'll just need to provide your IBAN and your name as written in your ID or the company's name if it is a legal entity and used to create your account. In order to send funds you need to provide the beneficiaries name as it is written in their ID and their IBAN account with no spaces.

In the UK Viva Wallet accounts are depicted in the form of an account and a sort code (04-00-24) that can receive and send funds instantly (up to 2 hours during business hours) through faster payments within the UK. In order to receive funds to your Viva Wallet account you just need to provide your account, sort code and name as written in your ID or the company's name if it is a legal entity and used to create your account. In order to send funds you need to provide  the beneficiaries name as it is written in their ID or the company's name if it is a legal entity and their IBAN account (shortly it will be supported the addition of the account and sort code instead of the IBAN account as it is used in the UK to send and receive funds).

In Cyprus and Belgium, Viva Wallet accounts are depicted in the form of a Wallet account and shortly it will be IBAN enabled. 

 

*IBAN accounts in Greece currently support incoming SEPA credit transfers from all Greek banks (members of DIAS) and some European SEPA zone banks (members of Equens.xlsx). Within November, all SEPA zone banks will be supported for incoming SEPA credit transfers.
