What is the difference between Redirect and Native Checkout?

Follow

Using the standard ‘Redirect’ method for integrating Viva Payments to your website, means that your customer gets redirected to our secure PCI-DSS compliant environment for completing a payment.

Integration requires less coding and gives your customers the option of different payment methods:

  • Credit, Debit or Prepaid card (via the web or our secure IVR option)
  • Cash at our constantly expanding network of Viva Spots
  • Pay@Home, allowing our courier service to collect money from where your customers are
  • E-banking
  • Viva Wallet, a single-click payment option for the VivaWallet community.

Native Checkout on the other hand, gives you the tools to implement a custom checkout form, so that your customers complete the payment without leaving your website. Native checkout only works for card payments (you will need to use additional API calls to implement Cash payments).
